My daughter wears clothes for 12 months so I bought for 12-18 months. I had to leave at 6-12 months. The dress is too big and the sleeves were very long. As she gets up to leave, she puts on her dress and falls. The dress is very cute for the price. Would definitely recommend, just wish I had gone a size smaller. If your 1-year-old is like mine and has a mouthful of everything, also look out for the crown that comes with the dress. My girlfriend took it off and put it in her mouth. She was able to take a small star from him and tried to swallow it. I had to take it out of my mouth. Very creepy.
