These nato straps are short enough that you don't have to fold the extra length like most other nato straps. I know some other reviews have mentioned wanting the extra strap to be folded, which I think is a stylistic choice. As for me, the only thing that has bothered me about NATO in the past is the extra length. So if you don't mind not having extra parts, they might suit you. I should mention that they are pretty thin, but again that suits me as I don't like thicker NATOs.
