A comment related to one star comments already made. Several buyers complained that not all of the bulbs they received worked. These bulbs are polarized. That, is they will not light up if the positive side of the bulb is not connected to the positive electrical source. If you install it and it doesn't light up, flip it end-for-end and I bet it will work. All of the four that I purchased worked - when I had them properly oriented.
