These controllers worked fine once synced to our PS3. My kids (ages 4-11) mainly play games with it like Little Big Planet 2, Lego Marvel Super Heroes, Lego Avengers, etc. There were no problems for the first month. But then the pink controller started having trouble responding to the on-screen controls. It crashed and became unresponsive, although it turned on and still charged normally. Luckily, after weeks of correspondence, the manufacturer gave me a partial refund for a controller that was no longer working properly. The blue controller still works great. My only issue is that as soon as you unplug the controller from the USB charging cable, it immediately wants to ping the PS3 and boot itself. You must either turn off the PS3 so it won't respond to the controller, or simply charge the controller out of range of the PS3. In addition, it charges well and holds a charge for several hours of gaming fun. In a pinch, these controllers only cost a PART of the cost of the Sony Dualshock 3.
