This beautifully crafted pillowcase is made from real mulberry silk. I was concerned about whether it would match a goose down pillow in Egyptian king bed linen. It fits perfectly and helps keep the pillow fluffy for the most part, but not as stiff as a soccer ball. The material is smooth and very cool to sleep in - no more tossing the pillow all night like I had to do before. , (even in 100% cotton cases). Don't rush to machine wash it: instead, soak it in warm water in the sink (recommended to turn it inside out), rinse gently with a few drops of shampoo, rinse and squeeze take it out carefully (do not twist) and hang it up to dry in the shower. Buy two to keep one clean. Don't bother with the iron, your head will flatten it. :) Also, be careful with the zipper - where are you in a hurry? :) It's a good price, less than an Alaskan bear but no worse. Highly recommended.
