Review on πŸ•Ž Kurt Adler Hanukkah Star of David Light Set, UL Listed, 10-Lights by Constance Bingham

Very pretty but not perfect.

These are high quality lamps that can be placed outdoors. Each bulb is covered in durable blue and white Megen David (Star of David) plastic. They shine brightly, there were no problems with any light. The only downside is that there are only 10 stars, making the entire filament of light about 6 feet or so. It is not that much. You will need a few of these to really fully decorate even a small Hanukkah apartment porch. Also, the distance between the fork and the first star is only about a foot - if you plan on hanging that star high (like I did on a window) be prepared for extension cords. If there had been a longer string of lights I would have liked that option. Another major drawback is that despite the fact that the stars are blue and white, the cable itself is green. This is typical of Christmas lights, especially when used on a Christmas tree, but not many people have greenhouses/porches or anything green when decorating for Hanukkah. It would be much better to have a white cable or even a neutral gray or black. Having a green string is fine if you're an interfaith family and want to hang it on your Christmas tree, but again, it's not long enough to really decorate a decent tree (so buy a few to tie them together) . Summary: A solid string of lights that shines brightly. Good as a whimsical novelty or small Hanukkah home decoration, but expect to buy a few for any *real* or outside decoration. The cord is green so plan accordingly. Make sure you have extension cords, otherwise you will be severely limited by the location of outlets in your home.
