Ok my mistake, when I ordered I thought it was a wireless device. It doesn't work and that was my fault. I'm not sending it back, it's light years larger than what I used for my racing games (kept wireless wheel in the air), even with cables. But there are problems, namely: 1) It is quite small. A wheel the size of a salad plate; no problem as far as I understand. But if you want this thing to sit on your lap like the instructions say, you better have skinny hips. I'm a 5ft 8" tall cyclist, out of shape, I can *barely* wrap my feet around my hips, and I'm not particularly comfortable having my legs pinched there. Some key anatomical areas are compressed to an uncomfortable, but not uncomfortable, level. The problem is solved by placing the steering wheel unit on a sturdy wooden TV stand. 2) There are suction cups on the bottom of the unit that should stick to a flat surface., I still press the steering wheel, nothing slips, just don't pull back, the steering wheel pops off any surface it's on. 3) The pedals are fairly close together; No problem if you use one foot and switch gas/brake (there is a special place for the left foot and when you press it it holds the device), but I ride with two feet. ok, but it's kinda close. And this driving style contributes to the next problem. 4) I have wooden floors that pedalboard slides. Lved by placing a 4" x 6" piece of non-slip material under the floor mats under the pedal board. I don't think that will be a problem on carpets. With all this, I like the device, it is responsive, the feeling of strong vibrations, the wheel behaves as I think it should. I immediately rode it faster than the separate "wheel in the air" that I was using. Disclaimer: I'm new to video games (but not new to car racing). Experienced players may disagree with my opinion. If you think about it, maybe NO ONE will agree with me. I am satisfied with this device for this price. If it was $50 more I might have complained more. But it's pretty easy for me. This works for me.
