You may not know much about digital scales, but the most important thing is "resolution". How fine the resolution of a scale is determines its accuracy. The simplest scales have a resolution of 1 gram. However, at the cheapest end of the scale, you have models that are accurate to a tenth (0.1) of a gram. Even higher resolution scales are accurate to one-hundredth of a gram (0.01), and the most accurate scales available to the general public are (generally) accurate to one-thousandth (0.001) of a gram. This delightful gemstone is accurate to within 0.001 grams, putting it at the top of the average consumer market weights. It has an all-glass body to protect the weighed object from wind and air currents. Trust me, at 0.001 resolution, the slightest breeze will make your numbers jump. It has adjustable feet and a spirit level to keep the scale as level as possible (highly recommended). This is the most accurate scale I own and will find a place anywhere accurate weight and mass measurements are required.
