Well we have three dogs and two of them love these beds and the other would love to lie on the blanket he has had since he was a child. We bought one for our elderly dog who has mobility issues due to his age. As soon as he arrived we replaced his old bed with this one and put him on it and he dug and curled up until he was comfortable and then fell asleep straight away. While he did this, our other fluffy babies watched him intently, and got up and sniffed the bed. One of them would occasionally put his paw on the edge and pull. So we bought two more for her. He put it on as soon as he arrived and I really think if he didn't have to go out to do his business or get up to eat he would never have left it. So we now have three beds for our dogs but only two of them they use, each has their own space in a specific area, and we have a third bed anywhere in our family room that they use as needed. Whoever had a blanket doesn't care about the beds or the money we paid for it, but we still love him.
