I use this bag as an everyday laptop bag and also as a personal item when traveling and on my recent overnight trip I packed and needed my essentials, a laptop not even another bag. As an everyday bag, it has all the compartments you need: two large compartments on either side of the laptop sleeve, three open compartments in one compartment and a zipped compartment in another. Enough space for an external battery, charging cable, tablet, headphones in the front and all my computer cables in the back. There is a zipped sleeve that allows it to be slipped over the handles of the roll-up bag. And the front pocket with card slots, pen loops, mobile phone pocket - everything is taken care of. I've had it for several months now, after several weeks of research and comparisons on the internet, and I have to say that I'm very satisfied. The only thing that would make me love it more would be if it had a shoulder strap that runs from side to side for more security when walking around downtown.
