I'm usually a SmallRig fanatic and have a very similar smartphone product but the problem is that it doesn't have holes to attach the holder to the back. And the price of SmallRig was $10 more and I found that by searching. The product looks better than I thought as it looks thicker and also fits my SmallRig plate which is on the cage for my 6D MKii. I mainly use it as battery storage when I have a GoPro 7 Black to shoot videos with the camera. Sometimes I'd like a bit of redundancy or would like to shoot 4K video as my 6D doesn't have it. What I like about this mount is that the upper and lower arms are longer. So if I were to use it with my Galaxy S8 with a case, it would have more than enough room and a rubber grip to keep it in place. I have a thin Anker battery which is also perfect for this. I hope that UURig will launch more products as I see a lot of potential in this type of product. and I travel with my own gear so this accessory comes in very handy!
