There are many things I like about this bag. This is the perfect small to medium sized bag, a great wallet alternative. Lots of zip pockets to organize things. It packs a surprising amount of stuff - I managed to slip my Fire tablet into the bag along with various small pouches of items, gloves, a phone and charger, and a small flashlight. The material appears to be very strong and durable. The dark purple color is beautiful - very rich and deep, not bright. The plum color is perfect for fall and winter. Why did I lose a star? Odor. When I unpacked the bag, the smell was overwhelming. I'm assuming it's a materials processing chemical, which is a little scary. After a few weeks and a lot of airing, the smell went away a bit. However, it is still there. Maybe I'll get used to it. I love everything about this bag except the smell. If you can get used to it, then the price is definitely worth it.
