Trolleys from SKB, Pelican, Seahorse or Apache: Which hand luggage is better?

I have traveled extensively and have worked in over 20 countries. This is my second case from SKB and I'm a fan of their build quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail. However, you will also find worthy competitors, sometimes at better prices. However, when wheels are added to a great gear case, 'rubber' really suits 'road'. Read the comparison and review of Think Tank add-on dividers: IS PELIKAN STILL THE BEST VS. SKB, SEAHORSE AND APAH? Pelican original. However, in my opinion, competitors led by SKB have taken build quality and ease of use to a new level. Like the Pelican, the SKB burps automatically, which is important in a pressurized aircraft. Transaction cases usually have to be manually burped. I also prefer SKB closures for their strength and ease of opening. The quality of the Seahorse's hull is also really admirable for the money, but not quite as refined. Apache comes from that cheap network of "Freight" devices, and some swear that Apache is actually made by Pelican too. I haven't been able to test this, but when money is tight Apache really does the trick. WHICH BRAND IS EASIER TO DOWNLOAD? and Apache. The SKB wheels are exactly the same as the premium luggage and for me this is the deciding factor in choosing this great SKB. SHOULD I CONSIDER AN ADDITIONAL SOUL TANK INSERT? In my opinion yes and no. Think Tank makes great bags that meet the needs of professionals like me. That particular design now seems a bit dated - better suited to the typical lens shapes of the DSLR era. Now that professional photography is moving towards mirrorless cameras, lenses are often getting sturdier, but definitely wider. Although this Think Tank insert is three inches longer than the one that fits in typical 17-inch cases, it's actually less useful. One of the three channels is too thin in width and only suitable for accessories. The baffle section is a few inches deeper than the ThinkThank/SKB model, which fits in a 17" x 11" case. However, this poses a problem for devices that are pushed during transport. The inset in the lid is fine, only moderately useful for tiny accessories, but great for sliding a laptop around. However, SKG and Think Tank should also change their design as (IMO) the necessary foam padding that would normally fit inside the lid has been completely removed to make room for the lid foil. Even after the laptop and some accessories are stowed in the flap pockets, there is still ½ to 1 inch left in the lid area. So I cut out a ½" thick piece of foam to fit between the lid insert and the hardware for added protection. However, the $250 case may require a redesign of the Think Tank system. Still, I recommend using the Think Try tank liners as other competing brands also have their pros and cons It really depends on your specific gear and whether you are a photographer, primarily a videographer, a musician or an audio engineer.
