I bought this laptop sleeve for my new ASUS G751JT. I did a little research online to find good ways to carry this big, heavy laptop, and all the recommendations were for a backpack-style bag (see ASUS ROG or Everki Titan gaming laptop bag). I always carry my laptops in a carrying case with a handle and shoulder strap. Out of several suitable laptop bags, this style is just what I need. Cons: Immediately after purchasing it, I had doubts about the case. First, it was very, very light (about half the weight of previous small, light laptop bags like Dell products). If you're carrying something small and relatively cheap, light can help because it doesn't require extra padding. Lightweight for heavy gaming laptops that weigh more than 8 pounds, this isn't the way to go. To continue, I'll compare this case to my old Dell laptop case that housed my ASUS G50vt. This Case Logic sleeve has approximately 1 inch of padding around the edges of the computer and the piping is sewn into the sleeve. Dell had padding that was about an inch and a half thicker with a zipper at the bottom so you can remove the padding and adjust it to fit your computer. The Case Logic sleeve has a Velcro closure that allows you to store your computer on one side of the sleeve if the computer doesn't fit perfectly. This means if your PC doesn't fit perfectly, your PC will always move the case in one direction. If you continue to perform the main function of the cover (protection), it will become hard like wet noodles. Without resistance, you can bend the body along the side and twist it back and forth (great confidence booster). With the computer inside and the power cord and ziplock box in the smaller pocket, the sides fold down to reveal the computer bay. I will not comment on the shoulder strap as I have not used it. Pros: The quality of the material is okay. The zippers are good, they don't close. The material also appears to be quite durable (not structurally, but against abrasion). The size of the department is huge. Three pockets easily fit a laptop, cable, and tablet of almost any size, along with a host of other conveniences. Conclusion: Yes, this works for ASUS ROG G751/750 series, I strongly do not recommend it to protect your laptop investment.
