Waterproof and will not spread on paper.

These pens write well and don't bleed like some regular pens I have used. They proved waterproof on watercolor paper just one minute after drying indoors. So far I really like the choice I made when purchasing these pens. I am a watercolor artist and enjoy doing ink lines and watercolor sketches in my journals when I hike and/or travel. I think they will be great for my studio and plein air gear. The price was good too. You could spend a lot more but I don't understand why.
