This cable is a USB 3.0 cable, but it does not work with any of my USB 2.0 devices. I thought all 3.0 cables were backward compatible with 2.0. This is a great cable, very well designed and very durable, maybe even a bit too heavy for small devices. It just doesn't work with what I have. I know they do something different with the 3.0 pins on the cable, but that should work with all USB devices. Too much hassle to send it back. I'll throw it in a cable box, but I was disappointed that it just didn't work.
