I've read and heard about toothpowder for years but have never seen it here in the US. I noticed that toothpowder was still available so I got curious and decided to give it a try. Besides satisfying my curiosity, I was interested in this because it comes in a metal can (recyclable) rather than a plastic tube (more plastic waste). I think it's great. As a toothpaste I see no difference between this and the toothpaste I use. It cleans my teeth. At my last dental check-up, the x-ray showed no tooth decay. I find that while it tastes a bit like mint, it's not very strong. So if you prefer a milder mint flavor, this might be for you. Its application requires some practice. This is a powder in a metal can with a sealed lid. Apparently you have to poke a hole in the cap and then sprinkle the powder onto a damp toothbrush. wow, good luck with that. I'm still working on my technique. It gets better, but sometimes tooth powder stays in the sink. I spoke to a friend from work in India, she said they also pour it on the brush with a spoon. So I can try that.
