Review on Babymoon Neck Support Pillow - Ivory, for Flat Head Syndrome by James Duffield

It really works

At first I was skeptical that such a small pillow would fit as I thought it would put me off immediately so I'm not sure where people are getting it "it's too big". and bulky "" off. Maybe it will be too much when your baby is from one day to one week old. My girl is almost 4 months old but when I took the first picture she was about 3. As you can see she preferred one side more which caused the flat spot. During her 2 month check-up, our pediatrician recommended that we keep her away from it by placing a rolled up blanket behind her so she was lying on her opposite side. We tried this and it didn't work as she turned her head in the side she liked. I started to worry that it was only going to get worse since it wasn't getting better and decided to do some research which led me to this pillow. After 9 days of using this pillow every night to get her to sleep, the shape of her head suddenly ulu sighed. Now I believe in this pillow and will recommend it to anyone facing the same problem. The $25 price tag for such a small pillow got me thinking, but it's worth it as it relieves the pressure of the skull against a flat, hard mattress. She turns her head from left to right on the pillow but maintains her head shape. I was concerned that she would have to sleep on the back of her head for this to work, but much to my surprise, that's not the case at all. She is at 92% of the head circumference and does not move her head. Pillows when sleeping, for which I am grateful. This pillow saved me the worry of getting a helmet. Luckily I don't have to worry anymore. *PS* I read some bad reviews and how their baby got scratched with velcro. You should not put the baby on Velcro. It should be common sense, then you won't be dealing with irritated, scratched skin.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...
