I don't quite understand the complaints from other reviewers. The product is small and compact. It heats up the bed very quickly and I let it run for a full hour. When I go to bed the duvets and mattress are warm and comfortable. If I just leave it on for 15-20 minutes and then go to bed, I'm really all too hot and uncomfortable. The cord is short, but I use an extension cord. The hose is also short, but after a full cycle under the covers, that doesn't matter because the entire queen mattress is warm. I assume the cord and hose are short so the product is compact and easy to store. I am very happy with it. My bedroom is in the basement and although it has a fireplace, the bed gets icy in the winter. I am very satisfied with this product. Money well spent and no power cords or boxes under the mattress.
