Was looking for a tripod that was relatively tall and strong but light enough to be used as a monopod of sorts. This tripod meets all requirements. It's definitely sturdy and relatively large, but it's fairly light and folds down to a very convenient size. The base of the tripod is generously sized when the legs are extended, providing a secure and solid support for your camera or device. The telescopic function is easily achieved with locking levers and pressure nuts. The quality is excellent considering the reasonable price. Although I didn't need a shutter remote, the one included in this kit works as expected and works with both Android and iOS devices. The kit includes a shutter control strap, mobile device mount, and action camera mount, and the tripod itself uses 1/4-inch-20 threads (typical) for the connection. The package does not include a bag or suitcase. Ideal for Osmo Pocket.
