These are small square desiccators. I bought some Penzeys spices but I don't use them all in one day or even in a couple of weeks. Many of the spices they sell are in generous proportions. So I bought several smaller containers and separated them. I used one to two packs depending on the size of the container. Then I keep the excess in the fridge. I've also added them to the spices in the cupboard, making sure to keep the pack on top of the jars for optimal potency. I have been comparing spices that have been on the market for several months without packaging and Penzeys open spices with packaging and was a little annoyed with myself for not using these packaging. A month later, Penzeys With, the package smelled as fresh as the day I opened it. It makes dishes taste fantastic because the spices stay fresher with this little desiccant pack. Approximately 1 inch by 1 inch square. And don't forget that these desiccant packs are upgradeable. This saves a lot of money because you don't add any garbage to our environment. I am very happy with these dryers. Careful. Others cannot be updated.
