The reamer is made of soft, weak steel. I broke it reaming the first tire. See photo. It might be ok for small passenger car tires but it is not suitable for heavy-ply truck tires. The reamer steel is so soft, the ridges were substantially worn just reaming through the steel belts of one tire puncture. Also, if the puncture is small, you will not be able to push the reamer or plug through without using a drill first, to enlarge the hole, so you end up repairing a very large hole. Overall, it's a great kit. Too bad the principal tool is garbage.
