Review on ETOPLIGHTING Porcelain Splitter Adapter Wattage by Michael Schafer

I used this item in my ceiling light outlets (two) in my garage. I used to use a cheap plastic outlet that splits into two outlets so I could put two 200 watt lightbulbs in each spot. I've always been concerned about the heat radiating into the overhead electrical box and how much electricity would be wasted if someone accidentally left the lights on overnight. I filled this quad head socket with 17 watt (5000k) LED bulbs and am now getting more lumens per light than before, much whiter light and only 136 watts of power consumption instead of 800 watts with the light on. This device is very well made and should last a lifetime. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to increase the amount of light available in a location that is currently unsuitable - not just for photographic purposes.
