UPDATE: I had a bit of a conflicting feeling giving this product a star: the zip might have arrived broken, but the whole concept is still fun, right? However, when I did my first review, I found that not only was the zipper broken, there were also stains/blemishes on the back of the pillow. I am assuming it is a "used"/returned item. Definitely not good for resale, especially new. And again I say "BOOO!" ORIGINAL REVIEW: The design is clearly fun and the sequins work well enough to hide/reveal the cage underneath. The problem is that the zipper doesn't work right after opening - it closes 1/3 and doesn't close. It doesn't cling to anything (threads, padding underneath, etc.) and I used the recommended size pillow, so it's not. So, the joke gift I bought for my husband's birthday has turned into a bit of a headache - should I return both items, including the pillow? Or change the order and hope the replacement box will arrive by his birthday despite the Labor Day slowdown? Take it to the dry cleaner and mess up the zipper? Boo, online shopping, boo!
