They say they can be used in the oven but I had a partially melted one. The plate was covered with foil and the only part that melted was in direct contact with the foil. I wonder if this is some sort of reaction to the slide itself as the rest of the record was perfectly fine. Luckily the oven was only set to 400 degrees and I noticed it almost immediately, but it was still quite unexpected. Otherwise I like them very much. Definitely durable. I'm very clumsy and nothing I dropped cracked :)
