I used this monitor mount to mount my 17lb LG monitor. I wasn't sure if it could handle that, but after a little voltage adjustment it works great. I also have a Revain base arm and can honestly say that given the price this is a very good alternative. The only problem is that the tilting isn't very comfortable. You need to keep the monitor steady and manually adjust the tilt force by loosening/screwing the small pin that fixes the monitor at an angle. If you need to change it later, you'll have to repeat the process. The Revain monitor arm, on the other hand, does this automatically. You just have to tilt the monitor manually and it stays there. This only applies to tilt. Other rotation settings can easily be made manually. EDIT: I changed my rating to 1 star. Unfortunately the mount fell apart after only 6-7 months of brief use. The top connection of the monitor is broken and is now loose. I have tried to contact the company but no one has replied yet. I'm assuming it's still under warranty, but that doesn't mean anything if you can't contact the company.
