Review on πŸ—‘οΈ Rubbermaid FG280300BISQU Dual-Action Swing Lid Trash Can for Home, Kitchen, and Bathroom - 11.3 Gallon, Off-White Bisque/Tan by Stephanie Jonsson

The lid of the trash can isn't attached to anything - yes, I checked.

TLDR: Do not use a double-action trash can. The lid is not attached to anything. I'd put a zero as it doesn't really work, but the bottom half is fine, solid, easy to clean. Still pretty useless if you have to rearrange the lid every time you throw rubbish in the bin. ------------- Need a plastic container for the kitchen. I didn't want metal that could rust or a pedal mechanism that could break. This "double action" container works well when the lid catches on the container itself. Instead, it sits loosely. Using a liner makes matters worse as the plastic cap sits on top of the plastic sheet covering the two grooves. Even without a liner, the grooves here are just for show. It holds kitchen waste and is easy to clean, although so far I've only had to wipe down the top. Yes I checked the hook mechanism under the cover and although it has a "hook" the hook doesn't fit on anything. Every time I throw garbage in the bin, I have to change the lid. If you want a lid that fits and stays in place, this isn't the bin for you. I had to buy a clip closure. What actually belongs to a double action? Permutation? confused.
