I gave it three stars because that is my overall opinion of the razor itself. It's actually a cheap sharp razor. If you know the brand these razors are very similar to the BIC 10 pack razors. I would recommend them if you have no other choice and only want to use the razor 1-2 times. However, I have found that my skin was more prone to sensitivity, ingrown hairs, redness, etc. with this shaver. Basically, anything that CAN happen to a razor HAPPENS to these razors. If it helps, I have very thin, sparse hair and have had all these problems. My partner, who has thick, coarse hair, couldn't even use a razor. In general, I wouldn't recommend it and I wouldn't buy it again if it weren't for the apocalypse.
