Works best of all restraint solutions I've been trying to reduce ulnar nerve/cubital nerve symptoms when sleeping with my arms straight. I made two changes to make it work better for me. At first I bent it a bit, noticing that if I held my arms too straight, I would wake up with a feeling of stretch in the skin at the elbow. Second, my elbow is sensitive and if I leave it open it sometimes causes problems, so I also wear knee pads on my arm in the orthosis to cushion it (my appearance is similar to elbow pads). The heel rolls also make the brace more comfortable as it provides more padding between my arm and the metal strips used to shape the brace. In addition, they increase friction and thereby prevent slipping. It's not the most durable piece of hardware, but it lives up to my expectations. One of the Velcro on the strap wasn't fully sewn on when I received it, but it's still holding up after a few months of use. If it came loose, I could always turn it back on. For reference, my biceps are 10.5 inches and they fit perfectly, even with the heel on my hand.
