Amazing tip! - Calligraphy pens

I was wary when I got this BC, it was so light (it's plastic). But when I put a sailor converter (a universal ink tank cannot be used and is purchased separately), things got better. Especially when you put the cap on. For months I've been researching reviews, websites and ink supply store information on what type of fountain pen is best. I've only read good things about Sailor pens. I'm not willing to shell out $200 for a pen, especially since I love variety. So I bought this and two calligraphic sailors. i really love her Especially the curved ends. I wanted something with a slight curve. The sailor has amazing feathers! I can't believe this is a $20 pen. I've found that my cross is smoother on fountain pen paper but doesn't have the flexibility and ability to create swirls that I love. My other pens are actually more expensive (my first) Dryden or cheaper (they have their perks but aren't worth the price of Sailors. I've also found that pen ink is the other part of the equation! I use it now I'm one I have read so much about it. Sailor applies the ink smoothly without scratching or stopping. It's also a quick drying ink so I don't smudge when writing, especially when trying to improve my handwriting or lettering.
