Great for my Raspberry Pi
My monitor came with a white HDMI cable and I bought it to connect to my Raspberry Pi. I wanted this so I could easily switch without having to open the back to deal with a good cable manager setup built into the monitor to switch the cable. With this adapter I figured I could just use the same cable for all my devices and use the adapter for my Pi when needed. He solved my problem perfectly.
