Everything about this tripod is cheap but I only paid $8. It's a cheap construction from cheap materials. But it works. I use it with my Sony A99II and a 50mm lens. The camera stayed in place, but the slightest bump could knock it over. I used it as a table tripod with closed leg tubes. I wouldn't trust him with outstretched legs. It has a standard mortise screw and a three-way slant. This tripod is best suited for compact, pocket-sized point-and-shoot cameras. With a light camera, this tripod could be used on location. It is very light but a moderate breeze can blow it away. Thin legs are stable, but at the slightest impact they are deformed. This item is like a disposable toy tripod, but for $8 it might do the trick.
