I hate low flow toilets. I have replaced my bathroom toilet with a low flow flush toilet and have had nothing but problems. It started out flushing decently, but over time it got slower and slower until it stopped flushing solids altogether and was only flushing liquids about 1/4x. I tried all kinds of cleaners I could find and nothing worked. . I was almost ready to call the plumber and have him pull everything out. I've used several Green Gobbler products in this toilet but they didn't seem to do anything. Then I read a review about this product used to unlock the toilet. So I decided to give it a try. The instructions state that you should pour 32 ounces down the toilet and then flush. I used a slightly different method. I poured 2 liters of warm (not hot) water into the toilet bowl. I then added 32 ounces of this product and 2 tablespoons of Dawn dish soap. However, I did not flush. Instead, I added 2 cups of warm water every 4 hours for the next 24 hours. After 24 hours I blushed; and I was disappointed because it was still a weak flush. But I decided to flush it a second time and see what happens. It made me hesitate a little and then flared up fully. Now it flushes just like it did when it was first installed. I want to try this product first to avoid spending so much money on other drain opening products. I'm glad I could avoid calling the plumber.
