The smell of glue will give you a headache!
They're strong and durable but give off that horrible, strong, headache-inducing glue smell that sometimes accompanies new carpets or rugs, except for stronger ones (I assume paper is porous and traps odors) ). ). I would suggest airing them out before putting your gift in. I'm not even prone to headaches and I'm not sensitive to smells, so that's pretty bad. Also note that the shiny metallic shapes/lines you see in the photo are only on one side of the bag. All other sides are just painted flat, which disappointed me a bit.
