We needed to lift two identical smaller monitors over two identical large monitors We have been looking for a product like this for quite some time that is tall enough for the smaller monitors to rise above the top of the larger monitors - it was one of the few products that had SOME info on their max height - so we're grateful Now I'll give you one more thing: - the two arms don't rise to the same max height - with the right construction the difference is at least 2-3 inches (see below) If you don't need a maximum height this shouldn't be a problem for you as they are better parallel to at a different height seem to be each other. The design includes nice little features like the cord guide on the underside of the temples and even storage space. Two different size Allen keys supplied to adjust the resistance of each joint. After all the maneuvers are said and done they look great and the black design is understated against our dark walls. For the price I think this is a great product and the designers have clearly thought about how to meet most consumer needs. I find it taller than competing models so can't complain too much about height issues. I would recommend.
