This bassinet was good value for its size and features...it can be used for up to 18 months since you can cover the baby gate. Most of them last up to 6 months. My first child had a crib and actually slept in it, so I didn't want to have this problem again with my second child. The blanket is great too so the baby had a fan guard which the rest of us have to sleep under! Plus, it prevents my little one from discreetly touching the baby when she's sleeping when mom isn't looking! It was one of the few cribs that matched the height of my bed too... I have a lower bed... I'll attach some photos. The side panel folds down to help your baby readjust as he loves being close to his mother for the first few months. I found it a bit difficult to find fitted sheets on a large mattress, but I am including a link to a set of three cotton sheets. that I bought for less than $20. They fit perfectly!
