This is the same porcelain shaving bowl sold by another top notch brand that anyone interested in the art of shaving must have heard of. However, the silver rim of this bowl has not been carefully placed, giving it an odd, asymmetrical look. The silver rim is very close to the rim of the bowl on one side, but on the other side of the bowl the silver rim sinks quite deeply into the bowl itself. If this rather casual attention to detail doesn't bother you, then it's decent.
