I have a 2005 Hyundai Elantra and recently changed all the exterior bulbs to LEDs. They all worked great except for the turn signals/hazard lights which went into hyper flash mode every time they were used. After researching how to fix this problem, most websites stated that each LED bulb would need an additional load resistor, so I bought these. After watching a few online videos on how to install these resistors (they didn't provide instructions), I was able to figure out how to properly connect the devices using the two wires that go to each lightbulb. Expecting it to work right the first time I was sadly disappointed and somewhat frustrated that I wasted money and time just taking my machine apart to fix something that didn't work. I consulted another website (Superbrightleds) and found another solution to the problem, although the same website said they should work. As it is more difficult to disassemble the car and dismantle the devices and as they do not seem to affect the operation of the turn signals, it goes without saying that they will not be returned. As you investigate what you can do to fix your LED hyper flash problem, you should consider whether replacing the electronic blinker/turn signal relay is the best solution. While these resistors are a good solution and may work in some cars, they didn't work for me and if I had a choice I wouldn't buy them.
