I ordered 3 boxes for the children at our church's candlelight service. Of the 36 candles, all worked except 1. I was initially reluctant to buy them for fear the base would come off completely and the batteries would fly around while the kids tried to turn off the light. Although they were easy to use! You simply twist the base to turn the light on or off. After the light went out, he still had to unscrew the base completely. I have rheumatoid arthritis which affects my finger joints and have had no trouble using them. The lights flickered and were a beautiful color. It was the perfect size for our candlelight service. Good quality for the money you pay for it!
