While easy to install, clean and water resistant, it is poorly made for a large dog. My dog, who weighed only 55 pounds, jumped on the first ride and ripped the entire length of the stitching that runs along the bottom of the backrest. I'm very good with a sewing machine so I changed everything up and haven't had a problem since, but if you have a large dog like me please secure your stitches before loading your dog. This will save you heartache. Oh yeah, I did NOT contact customer service about this defect because it was quicker and easier to fix it myself so I never had to go without the seat cover I needed. I'm sure the company would have no problem replacing this item, but like I said, I'm pretty good with a sewing machine.
