This product gave me hope as it worked well in the icy driveway. However after multiple returns to get the size right and return broken thin silicone fastners I took the product on 3 separate 1 mile hike in light snow with an ice base. Every time these things slid off even with a modification l made (see pic). The bottom line is a silicone frame will never work. If there is any angle your wait will naturally pull on the silicone to prevent sliding. The silicone will not provide rigid support and the product will stretch and slide off your foot. In summary spend more money and get a rigid Frame (the less silicone or rubber the better l bet).
