Gloomy failure good for headphones

These headphones annoy me for several reasons. So much so that I just threw them away this morning. I tried using them with two different Android phones and a tablet and the earbuds failed completely. They have sound and you can listen to music or an audio book for about 5 minutes. Then noise, then silence. This happened multiple times on 3 different devices. I had to unplug and plug the cable back in every time to get the sound back. Not worth the trouble.
