What a great product. This solved a problem that had been bothering me for quite some time. The amp I use with the Sonos Connect has an auto power-on input, but it's not reliable. Using the Sonos optical output with the Bobwire now gives me a reliable 12V trigger to turn the amp on and off. It works every time! It waits about 30 seconds after pressing pause on the Sonos Connect before turning off the amplifier. The unit looks well made, has helpful LEDs to let you know how it's feeling, and even has a built-in DAC. I like things that work. It works out.
