First Impression We bought this bed for our new puppy and received it in no time. The new pup won't be home for a week, but here are my first impressions: I love this bed! I didn't expect it to be disassembled but the instructions were 3 steps and very easy to assemble. A note attached to the bed explains that this is to reduce shipping costs. Everything is evacuated. The nice thing is that it doesn't have that weird smell that some memory foams have. It puffed up fairly quickly, although it says it can take 24-48 hours to fully expand. Also, the design appears to be nearly dog-proof. There are no easy access zippers and all covers are removable/washable. We bought a large size in anticipation of the puppy's growth. The pillows rise about 6-8 inches off the floor but they are soft. If your dog has trouble jumping/lifting their legs, you can choose a smaller size or one of the open side versions. In general we are satisfied with this product. Will continue after seeing some usage.
