The antenna are basically a black and yellow pipe cleaner spiraled around a spring you’d find in a retractable pen with a not-very-round poof on the top. I’d read a review saying that they easily un-spiraled so I tried to carefully unwrap the package but the manufacturer went to town with using super strong tape around the plastic film. The process of unwrapping the headbands plus my son getting overly excited and pulling one left about 4 spirals in need or repair. 3 were able to be and one is too far gone. The kids I bought these for will enjoy them, but I doubt they’ll last beyond the two times we need to wear them…and my bet is that several don’t make it past our first event.
