This is a keyboard with a sharp design. The iPad snaps into place easily and the tilt locks into place very well. Even too good. You need to make a lot of effort to change the angle of the iPad. I wish it could be a little flatter - I find the maximum angle is 130 degrees, which is fine for any desk but doesn't give you a "canvas" feel if you plan to draw with an Apple Pencil. Was surprised to find the trackpad worked great - as you'd expect from a MacBook. The key travel is amazing - just like the MacBook Airs of old - and it's a huge improvement over the butterfly switches Apple has used on some of the latest MacBooks. In order for the iPad with keyboard not to be too heavy, they had to make it very heavy. Also, the keyboard sits flush on either side of the folded iPad, so the extra width makes it thicker than the MacBook Air. So if you want to travel lighter or thinner than a MacBook Air, this keyboard might not be for you. But it's an absolutely gorgeous addition that gives you so much more than just an iPad or MacBook.
