I took off half a star for the noise and half a star for having to return the first one that was sent to me. I'm not upset by the noise, I read other reviews so I wasn't surprised. I have studded tires on the bike so it's probably noisier than bikes with a less aggressive tread. The first one that was sent to me arrived without the eccentric and front wheel stand. I had to send it back as I needed a quick release skewer for my bike. They sent a replacement the next day and I received it quicker than they predicted. Easy assembly and rear wheel tension adjustment. Tip: If you smell like burnt rubber, your tension is too high. I would recommend purchasing the item as it does what it is supposed to. I rode my bike for a good hour this morning. Just don't break open the box until you're sure everything is in there and everything is going right. I also recommend watching a video on how to assemble it. Much easier to follow than the instructions that come in the box.
