Review on KooK Square Yorkshire Dispenser Stainless by Chuck Chen

Attractive compact clear glass dispenser with stainless steel spout

I use it at the counter to dispense filtered water. I have a water filter only dispenser that I keep in the fridge, but I wanted something in a room temperature water tumbler that looked decent and didn't take up too much room or counter space. I was so happy when I found this KooK dispenser with a stainless steel spout. The glass isn't flimsy and doesn't look very fragile, but it's still glass so I'm not taking any chances by picking it up. The lid is square and mine was closed so that the plastic seal was upside down at one point. Luckily it wasn't damaged and seems to be working fine. There are no leaks from the pipe. (Mine was already on, although the instructions said it was necessary, so I can't say how difficult it would have been.) I wish it came with an attractive, simple stand. Luckily I found a very small square eyeshadow frame currently sitting on a rarely used marble cheese slice. I still have to lean on taller cups. Pros: Attractive appearance, small size, stainless steel faucet, glass (no plastic taste). Cons: I wish it came with an optional stand. All other potential downsides stem from what I think are pluses, thicker glass that adds weight and small footprint - so it's not for large parties or dispensing large amounts of liquid unless you plan on refilling frequently. I am very satisfied with my purchase, both visually and functionally.
