Review on 🔌 4K HDMI KVMP Switch with USB 3.0 Hub, Audio - IOGEAR 4-Port by Marcus West

I love this KVMP. I have an IBM ThinkPad laptop with Win7 and a new Dell desktop with Win10 connected to KVMP and it works fine. I've been using the IOGear DVI KVMP 4-port for years and it's worked great too. However, I wanted to switch to a DisplayPort connection on my 24-inch HP display, so I went with that option. I like the ability to switch using the keyboard (double-tap the Scroll Lock button and then press Enter). It works fast and has never let me down unless I messed up the flow (e.g. by operator error). You may need to plug it into an additional USB port on the back (or front of your choice) instead of the mouse port provided. My Contour never worked with the assigned mouse port, but once I plugged it into the extra USB port, it connected quickly and showed up under Devices on every computer, just as it should. Since then it's been working great. I didn't find this tip on IOGear's FAQ help page either. So be careful! PRICE: It is undoubtedly expensive. But I chose it based on my previous experience with other IOGear KVMP and I expect to use it for a long, long time. So it should pay off in the long run. I've been spending a lot of time on my computers lately and this tool makes my productivity easier. So I highly recommend this KVMP. Have fun calculating!
