Review on A4Tech G800V Silent Gaming Keyboard by Michal Dobiasz ᠌

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The disappointment is complete, the product is not at all what I imagined.

It feels like those people who praise this model used to work at typewriters, because. after normal claves, it sits very unpleasantly for this one. Instead of macros, you can use AutoHotKey, which is noticeably better, though harder to master. Probably this keyboard can be finished to a normal state, but it will take too much time, so it's easier to take a normal one right away. Anyway, I'm going to give it back to the store.

Pros
  • - additional keys
Cons
  • A good idea ruined by bad execution. The price is 500, and for the remaining money it is better to take an additional keyboard. - media keys stuck on the right. As a result, the mouse has even less space for movement than on a conventional keyboard. Accordingly, this is not a gaming keyboard. - the keys are very high with a lot of travel. Which again makes this keyboard not playable, and it's not convenient to print. - it is not clear what kind of genius thought of making rows of keys of different heights. Because of this, the keyboard is again not suitable for printing and games. - it is also not clear why it was necessary to make the plastic on the keys rough, not glossy. Dirt accumulates on it much faster. - keys with rubber overlays. It's horrible. It feels like cotton under the key. These pads cannot be removed. Solution: swap with F5-F8 keys. - Doesn't know how to send character commands. For example, if I bind a comma <,> then if I switch to the 2022 layout, instead of a comma there will be a <B> key. - The macro editor does not know how to use macro buttons to create keyboard shortcuts. For example G12+F you cannot create. - Soft. A piece of buggy code that has not been ated for a long time. Last ated in 2022.
